The vehicles we deploy, and the lanes we know
A Chennai hub running into five states, with return loads on every core corridor — and a vehicle mix that goes from a three-tonne tempo to a 40 ft container trailer.
Sized to the consignment, not to what happens to be free
Tell us the weight and the cube and we will put the right body against it. Loading the wrong vehicle is how shippers end up paying for air.
Tempo
Part loads, city and short-haul distribution, urgent top-ups
14 ft container
Packaged goods and consolidated part loads on daily lanes
22 ft container
Full loads of general and industrial cargo between states
32 ft SXL
High-volume FTL where weight is lighter than the cube
Open body truck
Aluminium, steel, machinery and anything that loads by crane
20 ft / 40 ft trailer
Port and ICD container movement against vessel cut-offs
Where our vehicles come from
Said plainly: SLLPL does not yet own trucks. We run on vetted owner-operated and market vehicles while we build lane volume, and vehicle purchase follows. A transporter that tells you this upfront is a safer bet than one that discovers it on your load.
How we source vehicles today
SLLPL currently runs on a vetted network of owner-operated and market vehicles rather than an owned fleet. Every owner we engage is checked for RC, permit, fitness and insurance validity before their vehicle is offered on a booking, and we do not put an unverified vehicle against your consignment.
Owned fleet — what is planned
Vehicle purchase is planned as volumes on our core lanes stabilise. We would rather tell you plainly that the fleet is attached today than describe trucks we do not yet hold on our own RC.
Insurance on your cargo
Transit insurance is arranged on the consignments we carry and is included in the FTL and part-load rate. Stock and warehouse insurance is not covered — that stays with you.
Drivers
Drivers arrive through owners we have worked with and are briefed on the lane, the cut-off and the delivery contact before dispatch. Our own driver roll is being built as the fleet is purchased.

Daily departures out of Chennai
Our strongest corridors sit inside Tamil Nadu, into Puducherry and up into Andhra Pradesh. Every core lane carries a return load, which is what keeps our rate competitive rather than just low on the first quote.
| Lane | State | Frequency | Return |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chennai → Bengaluru | Karnataka | Daily | |
| Chennai → Puducherry | Puducherry | Daily | |
| Chennai → Hyderabad | Andhra Pradesh | Daily | |
| Chennai → Coimbatore | Tamil Nadu | Daily | |
| Chennai → Kochi | Kerala | On demand | |
| Tambaram → Vijayawada | Andhra Pradesh | Alternate days |
Need a lane that is not listed? Ask anyway — if we cannot hold the transit time on it, we will tell you rather than take the booking.

Attach your vehicle to our lanes
We are actively adding owner-operated vehicles on our Chennai corridors — particularly open body and 22 ft container. Bring your RC, permit, fitness and insurance, and we will put you on a lane with a return load.
